Describe what actually contains the material.
Start a BPC-157, KPV or GHK-Cu packaging enquiry with the material presentation and the container it will occupy. Identify the vial, stopper and seal as separate parts, then record the proposed combination. A cap colour or product photograph is not a component specification.
FDA's 1999 drug-packaging guidance, definitions on printed page 2 distinguishes individual packaging components from the complete system containing and protecting a product. We use that vocabulary to organise purchasing questions; this research-supply guide does not establish drug approval or compliance.
Keep the outer-carton proof as a separate approval. It cannot settle missing details about the immediate container.
Give each part a reference the supplier can answer.
| Part or field | Request in writing | Keep distinct |
|---|---|---|
| Material presentation | Named peptide, physical form and agreed content basis. | Container capacity is not peptide content. |
| Vial | Supplier part reference, material description, relevant dimensions and specification revision. | Nominal capacity, actual fill and headspace. |
| Stopper | Component reference, material or formulation code, coating or treatment if present. | Colour, material identity and supporting test scope. |
| Seal or overseal | Component reference and proposed match to the vial and stopper. | External appearance and assembled seal assessment. |
| Contact surfaces | Which parts can contact the contents in the offered configuration. | Direct contact and outer presentation. |
| Supporting records | Document reference, covered components, tested combination and conditions. | Component information and filled-system evidence. |
Mark each unanswered field as open. Ask the supplier to propose a documented option rather than filling gaps from a similar-looking pack. Dimensions and component codes remain subject to confirmation for the actual enquiry.
Ask what a glass classification refers to.
The public preview of USP’s 2023 Containers—Glass chapter describes borosilicate glass as Type I and distinguishes other glass classifications. That makes a useful purchasing point: “glass vial” alone leaves material details unresolved.
If a supplier states a glass type, ask for the applicable specification, component reference and supporting document. Check the cited version with your technical reviewer. A statement about the vial material should not be expanded into a conclusion about the filled pack, stopper, sterility or the peptide itself.
Component paperwork and compatibility evidence answer different questions.
A component document identifies or characterises a part. A review of the assembled, filled system addresses the proposed combination. FDA's compatibility discussion, printed page 9 includes adsorption, leached substances and changes that may emerge during stability studies. These are technical considerations, not findings about our materials.
Ask the reviewer which evidence is relevant to the named material, physical form, contact components and intended storage conditions. Record what the document actually covers, what differs from the offer and which questions remain open. Do not convert a generic component certificate into a product-specific compatibility result.
For the study itself, use the peptide stability report guide. This page supplies the component description needed to establish which pack that study addresses.
Use the same questions without assuming identical containers.
A GHK-Cu vial enquiry and a defined pen-style kit enquiry need separate component lists. If a kit uses a cartridge or another immediate container, request that reference and its contact parts. Do not substitute the outer kit name for the material-container specification.
Keep the requested packaging tied to the exact peptide identity. For blends, unresolved ingredient or content details remain open even after the packaging is described. Our vial and pen-kit comparison helps define the commercial units; the contact-pack worksheet adds the component-level questions.
Request the material and its contact-pack details together.
Send the named peptides, requested quantities, vial or defined kit presentation, component requirements and destination in the USA, Canada or Australia. State which documents your reviewer needs before accepting a proposed option. Wholesale strengths, configurations, availability and any additional review scope are confirmed during enquiry.
